If you are using a newly added phone number or carrier account or have had messaging stop working unexpectedly, please make sure you have completed your carrier's 10DLC registration process before attempting to utilize SMSable. 10DLC registration is required by ALL supported carriers due to the requirements set by the wireless carriers.
Configuring your Twilio account with SMSable is pretty simple and should only take a few minutes.
- First, you should login to your console at https://www.twilio.com/login.
- Once logged in, go to your settings page at https://www.twilio.com/console/project/settings.
- Copy your Account SID and Access Token into your SMSable profile from the Live Credentials section.
- On your SMSable profile, enter the phone number you would like to use.
- Click “Update Profile Details”.
- Go to Phone Numbers in Twilio, select the number, and under Messaging set “A Message Comes In” to Webhook https://inbound.smsable.app/receive?provider=twilio using HTTP POST. Private label customers should replace the hostname with the host from your onboarding email, or ask support@smsable.co.
- Click Save.
That’s it, you should be able to send and receive messages!
